Arts House and Campbelltown Arts Centre acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands we work on, the Bunurong Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples and the Dharawal people. We extend our respect to Elders past, present and future, while respecting Custodians of the vast Nations our digital platforms reach. We extend this acknowledgement to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, audiences and communities.

Sweatshop

Campbelltown Arts Centre has partnered with Sweatshop through their StoryCasters initiative founded by Diversity Arts Australia to commission two articles to be released pre and post festival. These works, from emerging Western Sydney writers Mark Mariano and Ferdous Bahar, will serve as bookends to the BLEED program, unpacking and examining the curatorial statement, and contemplating how the online festival experience sits within these disruptive times.

What are the implications, both positive and negative, of an increasingly online existence? How do the BLEED artists and works assist us in interpreting our present world and in imagining our future?

BLEED Echo is a public program responding to and ricocheting from the five artist projects and curatorial conversations of BLEED?
